1968 Rickenbacker360F – MapleGlo

Showing off yet another rarity, check out this crazy clean 1968 Rickenbacker 360F in MapleGlo! Rickenbacker offered “Full Body” versions of some of their models beginning in the summer of 1958, with none other than legendary luthier Roger Rossmeisl at the helm. Even with the size of the body and the chambering inside, this guitar definitely has that Rickenbacker jangle…but with even more tonal depth and character. This was the first year that the controls were positioned through the body, with prior models’ controls onboard the pickguard. One player who favored this exact model in MapleGlo throughout the 1960s was the pioneering guitarist, Jimmy Bryant! Less than 150 of these Full Body models were ever produced in the ten or so years of their production, so you certainly won’t see these every day!
