1960 Rickenbacker365 – MapleGlo

Can you believe how good this 1960 Rickenbacker 365 in MapleGlo looks after 64 years? This particular example is in fantastic condition, with just weather checking and patina showing hints of its age. It’s hard to find another guitar that encapsulates the 1960s like this Rick does. With TV knobs, a gold-backed acrylic pickguard, “Rick-O-Sound” inputs, and the warm glow from the Maple, it’s just a beautiful piece all around. The sound from the two toaster pickups is quintessential Rickenbacker and even sounds great with some grit, too! To keep this sounding and playing well, the toggle switch was replaced (with the original left inside the case). Also, at some point, the original Kaufmann Vibrola was replaced with an Accent Vibrola, but the new tailpiece almost completely hides the extra holes.
