1967 GibsonBarney Kessel – Walnut
Here’s something you don’t often see in this finish; a nicely preserved 1967 Gibson Barney Kessel Standard in Walnut! Barney Kessel was among a few artists Gibson sponsored at the beginning of the 60s, along with Trini Lopez and Tal Farlow, who all received signature guitar models. The Barney Kessel models feature a 25-½” scale length, perfect for players who prefer the Fender scale length but with a preference for the Gibson feel. This guitar originally had Kluson tuners, but the guitar currently sports Grover Imperial tuners, a change hardly visible without taking the tuners off the guitar.
