1960 GibsonEB-2 Tenor – Cherry
There certainly isn’t another like this one! This guitar is a bit of an oddball, with the inner tag reading “EB-2 Tenor Bass” and the original hangtag reading “ES-355T Special”. It is essentially an EB-2 bass fitted with an ES-355 Tenor neck. This includes the split diamond headstock inlays, an Ebony fretboard, and banjo-style “bowtie” tuners. It also includes custom-made 4 pole piece PAF pickups and a custom-cut ABR-1 bridge. This tenor guitar is extremely rare and likely the only one of its kind.
