1955 GibsonES-175D – Natural (w/ GA-30 Amp)

This stunning 1955 Gibson ES-175DN walked through our doors in the hands of the original owner’s daughter, but that wasn’t all! She also had his original Gibson GA-30 Amp in tow. All of it was spotless. She let us know that her father had purchased the set before he had kids, and when that day came, both the guitar and amp were moved to his closet, where they remained untouched for decades. The guitar is in incredible condition and is one of the easiest-playing ES-175s we’ve had in the shop. The original tailpiece was changed sometime before the original owner stowed the guitar for storage. However, we have since sourced and professionally applied an original style tailpiece back on the guitar, with just one tiny screw hole visible at the bottom in the absence of the other tailpiece. We’d like to keep the amp and guitar together as a set, as they have been together for over half a century!
