1968 GibsonES-345 – Sunburst
We love a guitar that has seen honest play wear, and this 1968 Gibson ES-345 in its original Sunburst finish definitely served its old owners well! Sporting a stereo input, two Patent No. pickups, a Varitone switch, and a Bigsby tailpiece, this one offers a ton of versatility. The original tuners were replaced with Grovers, and we can tell that the original bridge pickup has been worked on, but luckily it is entirely functional and sounds great! A previous owner installed a strap button on the bass horn at one point, but it has since been professionally filled and touched up (only visible under blacklight). The bottom strap button has been moved a couple of times, as evidenced by a couple of leftover holes just under its current location. This is a great player-grade instrument for anyone itching to get their hands on a 345!
Overall Condition: 7.5, finish in good shape with playwear throughout and expected wear to the gold hardware.
