1955 GibsonL-4C – Sunburst

How clean is this 1955 Gibson L-4C in its original Sunburst finish?! Every once in a while, we have an original owner walk into our store with their gently used vintage guitar, and that’s precisely what happened here! This was purchased directly from the original owner’s family, and it’s clear they took great care of it; even the case is minty! Less than 70 Sunburst L-4Cs were made this year, so there isn’t a ton out there, even less so in this state of preservation. Despite its cleanliness, it’s a great playing and sounding guitar. Each note rings loud, and you can feel the vibration throughout the whole guitar. The only note is the original pickguard was lost long ago, so it now sports a reproduction pickguard.
