1939 GibsonL-5P – Natural

Here’s another Gibson landmark guitar for you, a gorgeous 1939 Gibson L-5P in Natural! Up until 1939, both the Super 400 and L-5 featured symmetrical body designs, without any real access to the upper frets. In 1939, Gibson unveiled their first “Premiere cutaway” on these two models, and this guitar is a beautiful example from that first year! The sound is booming and the overall look is timeless, with a beautifully bound neck, incredible maple grain, and beautifully preserved gold Kluson tuners with Catalin buttons.
