1965 FenderStratocaster – Sunburst
This bright beauty is our 1965 Fender Stratocaster in a three-tone Sunburst finish! With the sale of Fender taking effect in January of 1965, this Stratocaster was made in the first few months under CBS’s new ownership. This guitar looks almost untouched since then and is truly a stunning piece. These original frets are in great shape, with a veneer rosewood fretboard that gives off such a rich, deep color. This beautifully figured maple neck is also fitted with some birdseye flame, especially noticeable in pictures of the front and back of the headstock. All in all, this is a great guitar, vibrant in looks and sound!
