1968 GibsonThunderbird IV – Sunburst
This 1968 Gibson Thunderbird IV is Sunburst, Non-Reverse, and ready for a concert! This iteration of the Thunderbird would be discontinued just a year later, never to appear again… as a vintage instrument, that is! Whenever the model was reintroduced in the ’70s or ’80s, Gibson returned to their previous, Reverse style instead. Of course, one can find a custom shop nowadays, but this is your chance to get an original vintage example that is still in great shape! This bass has its fair share of playwear and edgewear, telling us it was played and cared for over many years.
Overall Condition: 8, light playwear, specifically on the edges, and some hardware patina
