1958 Gretsch6120 – Amber Red (Ex Ed King)
We’re happy to have this gorgeous 1958 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins in Amber Red that formerly belonged to Ed King! Mr. King was the guitarist for legendary groups such as Strawberry Alarm Clock and Lynyrd Skynard, although we can’t be sure when he acquired this Gretsch. Featuring two nicely balanced FilterTron pickups, Bigsby, and the classic ‘sign post’ signature pickguard, this guitar is just as functional as it is beautiful! It certainly has that great Gretsch sound, and even unplugged you can hear how dynamic and well rounded the instrument is. This guitar has seen a professional refret to keep it playing great, but aside from that it is entirely original.
