1966 GibsonTrini Lopez Standard – Cherry

Check out this 1966 Gibson Trini Lopez Model in its stunning and original Cherry finish. This piece was one of Gibson’s artist models, following the successes of the Les Paul and Barney Kessel models. It combines some specs from earlier Gibson models, but it also showcases some unique features. This guitar wears slashed diamond fretboard inlays, diamond-shaped soundholes, and a familiar Firebird-style headstock. It also sports its model name upon a walnut tailpiece. In fantastic condition, this Cherry Trini boasts a clean finish with minor weatherchecking, along with gleaming chrome pickup covers, bridge, and tailpiece. This example plays beautifully! It came from the family of the original owner and has been wonderfully maintained throughout its life. To top it all off, it comes in its original hardshell case!
