1964 GibsonSG Tenor – Cherry
This one-of-a-kind 1964 Gibson SG Tenor guitar in Cherry features some pretty insane custom-ordered features. You’ll first notice the crazy combo of an SG body style with a tenor neck and Firebird-style headstock. But it doesn’t just stop there! It also has two four-pole humbuckers, a four-saddle tune-o-matic bridge, and a Bigsby?! Not to mention, this guitar comes with a great story. Inside this guitar’s case is a letter from the original owner explaining how he came to own this tenor. Along with this letter are pictures of the original owner with his band playing this tenor guitar. In the black and white photo, you can see it in the hands of its original owner, and in the color picture, you can see this Tenor in his friend’s hands on the far right.
We’ve written a whole blog post about this instrument! Make sure to check that out here for more info detailing the full story!
