1969 FenderThinline Telecaster – Hot Pink

You’ve heard of Shell Pink, but have you seen something as hot as this all-original 1969 Fender Thinline Telecaster in Hot Pink? The Thinline Telecaster was a clever way for Fender to use heavier-than-ideal ash bodies for Telecasters by hollowing out most of the inside for weight reduction. This new model unveiled vibrant new colors, with Hot Pink being amongst the rarest of these new shades. This particular guitar was protected by UV light during its lifetime, as the fading is minimal and still has some sizzle to the Hot Pink. We love how comfortably rounded these maple necks of the era are, and this one also has a nice bit of figuring in it!
