1962 FenderVI – Shoreline Gold

Fender released the “Bass VI” in 1961 and we have here the first variation of this baritone bass. This example was produced in 1962 and is a truly special piece. It is shown here in its original Shoreline Gold finish with the early appointments of three Strat-style pickups with chrome-plated surrounds and three pickup selector switches. It showcases clay dot inlays and a non-matching headstock. This Fender VI also comes with its original strap, receipt, strings, and tremolo arm for its Floating Tremolo System. It also still has its original strings on it!
