1951 GibsonBR-9

For such a compact package, this beautiful 1951 Gibson BR-9 Amp really sounds big and clean! After the production shutdown due to WWII, Gibson tasked Chicago-based Barnes & Reinecke with designing and producing a range of amplifiers, including the BR-9! First introduced in 1947, the BR-9 Lap Steel and matching amp was one of Gibson’s best selling combos due to its affordable price. No matter the volume or input, this one sounds clean and crisp at any volume. This particular one is in good shape for going on 73 years! It’s been well maintained with some replaced screws, and even features a modern three-prong power cord.

Overall Condition: 7.5, wear and patina to the outer cover, wear to the bottom cover plate
