1954 GretschDuo Jet (6128) – Black
Check out this super cool 1954 Gretsch Duo Jet in its original Black finish, with the script logo on the headstock! This first full production-year example still has all original binding and finish and even features the Gretsch logo on the forearm as an early detail. The two DeArmond pickups function as intended and sound great in every position. Another set of tuners has been installed on the guitar, leaving some mostly obscured extra holes; the originals are back on the guitar. Overall, the guitar is in good condition, with wear throughout, notably on the back. This example was also professionally refretted and received a neck reset to ensure many more years of comfortable playing!
Overall Condition: 7.5, playwear to the back of the guitar, expected binding rot, but stable
