1963 GibsonEB- 3 – Cherry

How beautiful is this 1963 Gibson EB-3 in Cherry?! Check out that wood grain on the bass side of the body. This bass model offers a compact scale with a large sound thanks to these two humbuckers: a mudbucker at the neck and a mini at the bridge. Most notably, this bass features a four way rotary switch, offering a ton of versatility to players. We particularly like the brighter, more baritone-esque sound you get in the fourth position! Combined with its easy playability, its not hard to see why this model was favored by the likes of John Entwistle, Bill Wyman, and Jack Bruce. If you want to know what an EB-3 sounds like, check out the bassline on Cream’s “White Room” or “Sunshine of Your Love”!
