1968 GibsonEBS-1250 – Black

Here’s an incredibly rare, custom-ordered 1968 Gibson EBS-1250 in factory Black! Of all the double-necks Gibson offered, the EBS-1250 was the most scarce, with shipping totals barely over 20 from 1958 to 1968. The most notable EBS-1250 player is likely Elvis Presley, who famously used one in the 1966 film Spinout. This particular example was certainly played as evidenced by the light wear throughout, yet still, it was very well maintained. The black finish is as classy as it gets, and a little weather checking throughout gives it some extra character. All four original humbucking pickups sound incredible, with fantastic clarity and strong tone in nearly every position. You don’t see these pop up often, so if you were ever considering adding this model to the collection, now is your chance!
