1967 GibsonES-330 – Sparkling Burgundy

This 1967 Gibson ES-330TD is pictured here in its original and beautiful Sparkling Burgundy finish! Sparkling Burgundy was Gibson’s equivalent to Fender’s ever popular “Candy Apple Red.” It was even applied similarly, with a metallic gold undercoat and a translucent red overtop. That is why each guitar in this finish ages so uniquely. This particular 330 has stayed very true to its original color, still maintaining almost all of that translucent red top coat. Along the neck, you will see the finish looks a little more bronze, where the finish has begun to wear down. Spec wise, it is tailored with two P-90 pickups, a Gibson tune-o-matic bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece. Additionally, it features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, and fully original frets.
