1967 GibsonES-335-12 – Black
Indeed a “find another one” type of guitar… just look at this stunning 1967 ES-335-12 in its factory original Black finish! Due to the immense popularity of 12-string guitars in the mid-60s, Gibson introduced this model in 1965. It is essentially the same as their iconic 335, though with the obvious accommodation for more strings. Just look at the size of that headstock!! This model was discontinued in 1971, and with these limited years of production, not too many of these were made. We have never seen another in Black, as the standard finishes for this model were Cherry or Sunburst. This guitar delivers that twangy 12-string sound perfectly, and the semi-hollow design of the body really helps to accent its fullness. These two humbuckers deliver a crisp, clean tone and are nearly perfectly balanced. This guitar is all around clean, with some expected light playwear and checking here and there to denote its age. It is clear this guitar was taken immense care of, something we hope will continue with its new owner for years to come!
Overall Condition: 9, very light wear takes it just one step down from being a perfect 10!
