1958 FenderEsquire – Blue Metallic

We’re proud to present this incredibly rare,  pre-color chart 1958 Fender Esquire in Blue Metallic! It’s hard to be sure of the exact color name of this finish, as many of these pre-1960 colors were simply picked right up from a local auto body shop. From our various comparisons, we’ve found a close match with the Pontiac color, “Sapphire Poly”. Its beauty has held up extremely well, and the wear to the body shows an undercoat of white that is gorgeous in contrast with this striking blue. This classic 50s neck shape feels incredible in hand, and this pickup offers surprisingly versatile tones with the onboard controls!
