1958 FenderEsquire – Blue Metallic

We’re proudly presenting this incredibly rare, all-around unbelievable pre-color chart 1958 Fender Esquire in Blue Metallic! It’s hard to be sure of the exact color name of this finish, as many of these pre-1960 colors were simply picked right up from a local auto body shop. From our various comparisons, we’ve found a close match with the Pontiac color, “Sapphire Poly”. Its beauty has held up extremely well, and the wear that shows the undercoat of white is a gorgeous contrast with the striking blue. The classic 50s neck shape feels incredible in the hand, and the one pickup offers surprisingly versatile tones with the onboard controls!
