1968 FenderEsquire – Firemist Silver Metallic
Feast your eyes on this wonderfully well-loved and original 1968 Fender Esquire in Firemist Silver Metallic! Firemist Silver replaced Inca Silver in 1965, and had more blue in the overall color mix. This finish has aged particularly green, giving it a beautiful Sage hue. You will notice around the edge wear that this factory original finish was applied over Sunburst. We have seen this on many guitars, and know that Fender would often apply a custom color over a Sunburst body if they didn’t have an unfinished one readily available. The neck on this one is beautifully worn-in, smooth and easy to play. The frets have been replaced too, making sure you’re playing great for many years to come!
