1969 GibsonLes Paul Custom – All Gold
Here it is in all its golden glory! That’s right…it’s a custom Custom! This is a factory original 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom in an All Gold finish with gold hardware. As a custom order, this LP is noted with “Gold bix.” (Bigsby) and “Gold fin.” written on its tag. We’ve even got a picture of the original Gibson ledger, which dates the guitar to 1969 and notes it as a “Les Paul Custom Sp.” alongside its serial number. We imagine someone couldn’t decide between a Les Paul Custom and a Goldtop, so they flipped a coin and it landed on its edge. This guitar is completely original and even retains all of its original hang tags and the original owner’s manual. While this piece is very clean overall, you can tell by that worn gold hardware that it was played! And honestly, it plays really well. These Pat. No. pickups wail; their sound is thick and dynamic with great clarity. This guitar is truly one-of-a-kind!
