1958 GibsonLes Paul Standard – Sunburst
This 1958 Gibson Les Paul “Burst” in Sunburst has got to be one of the most vibey Bursts we’ve ever encountered! You can bet every mark and scar tells a story, but the incredible flame top does a lot of the talking! This one has been played so much over the years that most of the finish on the back of the neck has worn down to bare mahogany, which feels incredibly smooth and comfortable in the hand. Two balanced PAFs effortlessly provide that legendary tone, which can be further tweaked by changing up the volume and tone controls. Between this flame top, aged finish, and patina’d hardware, every aspect of this instrument lives up to the hype and mythos that will always be the “Holy Grail” of the vintage guitar world. If you’re looking for an undeniably badass, original example, this is the one for you!
