1966 FenderMustang – Red

If you want to get into great vintage guitars without spending a ton, this 1966 Fender Mustang in Red is a strong contender! The Mustang model was offered in the summer of 1964 as a midline option, just ahead of the DuoSonic and just under Fender staples such as the Stratocaster and Telecaster. Keeping things simple, the Mustang was only offered in Red, White, and Blue. Featuring two single coil pickups, a clever two-slide switch wiring layout, and a tremolo system, the Mustang certainly has everything you’d want in a classic Fender! This particular guitar feels great, and the entire instrument was very well-kept and maintained!
