1965 RickenbackerRose Morris Model 1997 – FireGlo
This 1965 Rickenbacker Rose Morris 1997 in its bright FireGlo finish looks and sounds incredible! Rose-Morris was a massive UK-based instruments distributor throughout the 20th century. In the early 1960s, they struck a deal with California-based Rickenbacker to bring their instruments to England. Rose-Morris models most notably feature an “F” hole where all other Rickenbackers featured a “Cat’s Eye” slash, and all first-year examples were done in Fireglo. This particular example is essentially a 335 but known as “Model 1997” in Rose Morris’ new model codes, featuring two toaster-style pickups, and an Accent tremolo. This particular example has been well cared for and is completely original with no repairs or modifications.
