1966 GibsonSG Custom – Cardinal Red
Check out this 1966 Gibson SG Custom! It’s all original in this special ordered Cardinal Red finish. As the relationship between Gibson and Les Paul came to a close in 1963, the SG Custom was born. The standard color for the model was actually Polaris White, making this Cardinal Red example very special to see. It’s one of those custom guitars we really wish they made more of. This opaque red finish looks incredible with a white pickguard and all this gold hardware, especially that Lyre tailpiece! Additionally, inside this guitar’s original case you will find a picture of the Gibson shipping ledger, showing the order for this guitar.
