1961 GibsonSG Junior – TV Yellow
We cannot get over how clean this all-original 1961 Gibson SG Junior in TV Yellow is! These guitars are rare in their own right, but to see one in this condition brings it to another level. This TV finish has very evenly aged with time to a nice, deep yellow with almost no finish checking. The neck has a nice rounded profile, and the fretboard and frets hardly show any wear. One of the only places you can tell this is a vintage instrument is by the pickguard crack at the treble horn. This is fairly common to see on guitars of this era and can come from shrinkage, overtightening of a screw, or both. With this guitar, it looks like a bit of both. If you’re looking for a clean, rare Gibson that’s an awesome player and looker, this is the one!
