1978 FenderTelecaster Deluxe – Sunburst
Here’s a very well-kept 1978 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in its original Sunburst finish! Fender had just released the Thinline and Telecaster Custom models when the Deluxe was introduced in 1973, and it was originally billed as the top model of the three. With the larger Strat-style headstock, Wide Range Humbuckers, carved tummy cut, and 3-bolt micro-tilt neck plate, Fender really brought the Telecaster into the “modern” day. This particular example boasts all those features, and there is definitely a welcomed comfort with an equally pleasing sound and smooth playability. This guitar was certainly played, as evidenced by the hardware playwear, but the finish itself is in great shape.
