1974 FenderThinline Telecaster – Blond
We love a clean Thinline Telecaster, and this particular one from 1974 in its original Blond finish is certainly in incredible condition! Fender updated the original “Series I” Thinline design in late 1971, with its most noticeable change being the addition of two newly conceptualized Wide Range humbuckers. These pickups were made by Seth Lover (of PAF fame) and mark the transition to the “Series II” Thinline, along with this bullet truss rod and three-bolt, micro tilt neck. This particular guitar is incredibly loud unplugged, as the whole instrument vibrates with each note. Amped up, this guitar sings in nearly every position thanks to these versatile pickups. Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition with hardly any wear. It is also fully original and free from any repairs, modifications, or touch-ups. The orange bleed around the F-hole comes from the deep brown paint Fender used on the inside edge of these cuts. This was something Fender did with every custom color Thinline, allowing the f-hole to blend in seamlessly with the darkness of the cavity.
