1973 FenderThinline Telecaster (Series II) – Natural Ash

This 1973 Fender Thinline Telecaster hails from the model’s “Series II” run. This revamped design was introduced in 1971 and included two humbucking pickups and a three-bolt neck with micro-tilt adjustment capabilities. These newer “wide range” pickups were designed by Seth Lover, formerly of Gibson fame, as he designed their famous humbuckers! The micro-tilt adjustment is located at the neck plate, allowing players and techs to incrementally adjust the neck pitch without disassembling the guitar entirely. Both of these pickups are strong and give this semi-hollow Tele design a unique sound! Cosmetically, this guitar’s Natural Ash finish is in incredible and original condition, highlighting a beautiful grain pattern, particularly on the back of the guitar.
