1966 GibsonTrini Lopez – Sparkling Burgundy
Take a look at this 1966 Gibson Trini Lopez in Sparkling Burgundy! This model was only available for 6 years, from 1964-1970. Spec wise, it’s a super cool combination of different Gibson appointments all rolled into one. It features an ES-335 body with diamond “f” holes, a non-reverse Firebird style headstock, slash diamond inlays on the fingerboard, and a “Trini Lopez” walnut tailpiece. Our Trini has had a pro refret, but otherwise is in all original condition. The Sparkling Burgundy finish shows very little fade, has some minor checking and a few nicks. It is common to see Sparkling Burgundy turn golden or bronzed with age, so it’s great to see one that stayed so true to its original Red hue. Plus, it plays great and sounds just as vibrant and amazing as it looks!
